Intellivision Amico Gamerscon 2019 Trailer

Intellivision Entertainment released a new trailer today for their upcoming family based gaming console the Intellivision Amico.

The two minute plus trailer features Tommy Tallarico talking about video games and how complex they have become. He has a point, games today are quite complex and geared towards hard core gamers. This despite the fact that there are many more people playing causal video games. Most new console games aren’t always family friendly. Many typically involve multiplayer online game play and contain violence and/or language that may not be appropriate for everyone.

With the Intellivision Amico, Tommy hopes to bring families back to gaming, side by side in the same room. To achieve this goal the Amico will feature family oriented games rated E to E10+. The games should not be overly complex in game play either. The games are also expected to be affordable coming from all different game genre. These include action games, reimagined retro style games, educational games, adventure games and many more.

In addition, all games will be exclusives and only available on the Intellivision Amico. One such exclusive is Earthworm Jim 4 which will reunite some of the original game’s development team.

The last few seconds of the trailer shows off some clips of the games that you can expect. Some of these games are; a reimagined versions of Moon Patrol, the Bi-planes of Triple Action, Night Stalker, Shark! Shark! and a few others.
